Made some trees this time. It’s more fun making terrain than war.
Wish the quality could have been better though.

This is the cutest couple. Preiser 29095 & 29094. They’re cheap too!
Edit: The third one could be their friend.

Some day I’ll get my thumb out of my ass and make short videos with these.
The painted picture depicts Finnish vs. Russians.
The models are actually Germans against Russians, but painted white they look like finnish soldiers.
Update: 23 painted.
2 new guys, one regular marine and one para-trooper.
I have a new account for painting @blogtv http://www.blogtv.com/people/Wrim

Painted this while talking with @Jackiefromroseanne and Satan on BlogTV.
Customized with adding a rifle. I’m all out of RPGs and might order a panzerdivision.
Though I made a promise to myself not to order any more figures until the new 40 are all painted and based. 31 to go.
My next investments: an old air-rifle and Panzer grenadiers.

After I’ve bought and painted everything, I’ll have an army of 68 miniature figures.
… What the hell am I going to do with them?
Maybe I can rent them out to someone who knows how to fit them into a game.
I’m planning to build some kind of mountain-diorama to put them on, just to have it on a windowsill looking neat.
The rifle looks like an imitation of the Mauser M/96, the rifle Sweden never got to use in WWII. Sweden weren’t in a hurry to quickly mass-produce rifles like America’s M1 Garand, England’s Lee-Enfield or Germany’s Karabiner 98K, so from what I’ve read they were created with greater care and effort. After the war the M/96 were either used by the Honor Guard or converted into Hunting Rifles. If I had a license I would have bought the real thing, but for now I have to settle for this. I COULD buy a replica but what’s the point of having a weapon if you can’t shoot with it?
I’m probably going to have to pay WAY too much for it.
Fun/Depressing fact: 40000 os Sweden’s M/96 Rifles were bought from Germany. If Sweden would have gone to war with Germany, we would both have shot each other with Mausers. Think that they would have sold us weapons which we would have used against them.

Made a paramedic. Added a hacksaw and a backpack. The Citadel’s starter kit glue spills too much for these tiny models. And the brush is too big. But the colors work good and dry very quickly.

No. 17. bought a smaller brush, so I can make better details now.
It looks good from a distance at least.
